Very good question (and adorable pic :D).
I remember my 2 cats were dreaming so I guess the tort would too. Maybe they dream of a food dish full of pear cactus :D

Other mammals besides people almost certainly dream as well, and maybe birds do, too. But supposedly, reptiles can't dream because they don't have a big enough cerebrum. Would be interesting to read more studies on this, and see if that theory has been disproven. But for now, although fish, amphibians, and reptiles are known to need their rest, it's thought that they don't actually dream.
