my dt (Cooter), loves his/her hibiscus and rose pedals, it is my understanding that the leaves off rose bushes and hibiscus plants are just as good and beneficial, is that correct ?

Yes they are a good food source, but not every tortoise will eat them.

yeah, thats what ive heard. my hibiscus and rose bush are having a tough time sprouting buds, but plenty of leaves. he/she loves dark leafy greens, so that would be nice if he/she liked the leaves of the plants as well
