Hey
This was my first time to soak these guys just wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly. I soaked both for about 20 minutes. The water was warm to the touch. The larger one drank and urinated the smaller one did not. Thank you for any and all help.

I use a heat gun and check the water temp as I fill it. I like to start with water that is about 95°-98° That really seems to stimulate a basking response and they lay stretched out for a while when put in with warmer water. I like the water to come up to where the marginal meet the costals - so much deeper than you have there. All their skin areas submerged. I soak for at least 30 minutes - usually longer as I get all the chores done cleaning water dishes, feeding, etc before I put them back. The last 1/2 of the soak they are quite active and getting good exercise. They have always pooped in the water within 10 minutes - so I change it and the temperature is back up to 95. I also like to use a larger tub than you have your largest in to give them more room to move around. A tortoise that size I would soak 1-2 times a week and use a cement mixing tub. The smaller tortoise I would be soaking daily.

I would personally make the water slightly deeper. You want their tails to be under water. It's also ok to soak them longer to stimulate pooping (great way to keep the enclosure/yard cleaner). As long as the water is kept warm.

I have a 4 year old Sulcata tort and she's about 6" long and 6" wide from the front of her shell to back and side to side. How many times should I be soaking her ??

2 or 3 times a week should keep the tortoise healthy.

If its warm and rainy and the tortoise has access to puddles, then you could skip more days in your climate.
