That is sous per cool! I am stoked when I see any turtle or tortoise that's not a red eared in nature. If I saw those, I would be so happy! Are both of those very common to see? Or did you go into a really secluded spot?

I see the gophers all the time around here but that was the first box turtle I've seen.

Thats awesome, Can anyone explain to me why they are called box turtles but are on land, surely they are box tortoise?
