I'm not paying $19 for a bag of cypress mulch that 3 years ago cost 2.99 a bag.
Luckily, my city rocks. We have a city dump/ recycling center that takes lawn trimmings/ leaves, brush, fallen bushes, etc, they do not except anything pine or cedar, and they composte it. It's free to city residents as much as you wanna take. I figure my torts live outside all summer so they're exposed to all the same stuff and never had any problems. I am going to sift thru it and make sure there's nothing that might harm the torts. Complety free except for the $10 in gas it took to drive 2 miles there and back.
