[split] New here with a yellow box turtle

anyone know anything about yellow box turtles? I got one for my birthday and I'm lost! I already fell in love with my new turtle friend. But I don't want to hurt him. He's in a large glass cage with lots of water and some rocks that are above the water and has a heat lamp with a light bulb for day and night. And also he or she has turtle food from the pet store.

It would be best if you could post a picture of McMuffin, so we can be sure what kind of turtle we are giving you advice about. For example, box turtles are land turtles and the set-up you've described sound more on the order for water turtles.
