The male Russian was stretched to the limit breaking off leaves this morning, I saw the sedum moving but could not see the tortoise until I got down and looked in. he was in the plant knocking leaves off with his front feet, I guess he has learned to get the food to the ground and then eat it,or in the process of trying to climb he pulls them off. While he was working his butt off the female was close by, but not interested in eating at the moment.
