strange action :\

So my two baby redfoots are so different, should I be concerned? The one runs around loves his indoor and outdoor enclosure, the other only his I never see him/get out like ever, it concerns me? Advice?

I would try, just to see if it makes a difference, putting them in separate enclosures and see if the behavior changes.

I agree. It is possible that the active one is bullying the other. When bullying occurs, and torts can rival teenage girls for mental bullying, the bullied tort becomes withdrawn. They may well need to be separated permanently.

They were always seperate in there indoor cages and it was the same way. She had always been like that, I seperated them before cause I was told to on here, they don't even go near each other in the outdoor enclosure they share :/ I spent six hours with them reading a book and watching them when I first put then in there, and since she does it in her private enclosure as well I think it's something different

it's normal for baby's to hide in the wild they'd get eaten up quickly by birds of prey or whatever just stumbled along on them i'd be more concerned about the always running around one as in his mind he may not see or notice any "safe" hides to him and he's scrabbling around trying to find one

My baby RF never does anything. Eats, sleeps, and poos... :) I think it's fine - you have a nice variety. As long as s/he's eating and not acting different than normal, you shouldn't need to worry.

He has to be eating, I have had him almost a year and a half and he is the bigger one lol, and the other guy does hide he is just so much more active, he eats from my hand the hider won't even come out of the shell if I'm sound
