According to the United States Department of Agriculture, the toxicity of the Strawberry Clover (Trifolium fragiferum) plant is: Slight. I also found it said alsewhere to have high palatability. I would have to say :probably. I don't think small amounts would be bad at all.

It is a forage legume, like many provided for grazing herbivores (cattle, sheep, horses.) It is higher in protein and lower in water content than grasses, but, as part of a varied diet is just fine. I can cause bloat in ruminents, so I would limit how much I give, but every so often wouldn't be a problem.

Everything in moderation, always ;)
