Struggling to sex marginated tort

Hey,
I have had my marginated tort for four years since birth but I'm struggling to successfully sex him/her. I was hoping someone would be able to help by viewing the pictures I took.

Looks like a boy to me. Margies can be difficult at this size. Few more years and good sunshine growth should be more accurate. I was in the same boat years ago with some. I wasnt 100# until they were around 8-10" on a few of them.

I agree, it's a bit too young to tell but I would think at this age it's a female. Give it a nice unisex name like Chris or Pat or fluffy

This is what I thought as he/she is only around 5-6 inches:) Thanks for your help guys, guess i'll have to wait a little while longer for a definite.

If it's a male margy, he will show you in own special way eventually.. My margy can't keep that thing under wraps :p

Still too small to tell. Marginateds show maturity later than other Testudo species. Generally they have to be about half grown, 5-6" to absolutely be certain of their gender. Some are more appatent than others when they're around 4.5".
The photos below are of a male (1st) and a female (2nd) that were both about 7" at the time of the photo:
