My turtles are now five months old and are stubborn about eating their vegetables. They will only eat their gut loaded meal worms and other types of worms I feed them. I'm afraid they aren't getting enough nutrition. Any feedback? Thank you.

I would not worry about baby box turtles eating veggies at all. They are high protein diet in the wild. Many boxies even stay higher protein as adults.

While a high protein/calcium diet is important for a hatching veggies should still be offered I would attempt sweet potato apple or banana as a first food they have strong scents are a soft consistency

Thank you. They use to chomp on squash and zucchini but now all they want is worms.

When my boxies were that young, they were already nibbling veggies and fruits. I did it by moistening Reptomin sticks and mashing them up. I would then add the veggies into that and smash it all together.
