I've always heard that Iris is toxic, but my Manouria tortoises actually ate the plants and dug up the tubers and ate them (but Manouria DO eat quite a few toxic plants).

My Aldabran pen is right next to a 100' tall eucalyptus tree. They have lived there since they were hatchlings and they are now going on 9 years old. The only problem with the tree is it drops leaves and little nut-like thingeys into the pen constantly. So I'm always out there raking the pen. It hasn't been harmful to the tortoises, though.
