Just wanted to ask you about my Sulcata, so basically since its winter I took My time to make a outdoor enclosure for the summer but right now I feed him a store bought spring mix and I throw in kale and Romaine with it ans calcium, I've also started spraying him 3 times a day, now i know pyramiding doesn't go away but do you think this is enough that it will stop it?, i also have a uvb mercury and heat for winter when he is inside and also should I changed his substrate to eco earth?ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1487304651.557508.jpg

You should feed him more grass. If you are having problems getting grass hay try getting grass pellets and soak them much better and cheaper than store bought. Read TOM'S posts he gives all the correct info on raising them. You can get Alfalfa or Orchard grass hay pellets at Tractor Supply.

Substrate is a personal choice. If you like it better than what you now use, change.

Do you give your tort a daily soak in warm water?

What of humidity in his enclosure?

The humidity is 55-60 should I give him daily soaks
If the climate back there is a DRY one then I'd suggest a daily soak. I for one live in Jordan (in the Middle East) where the climate is EXTREMELY dry. Therefore, I give Oli a daily soak, Winter and Summer alike, so as to avoid pyramiding. And thank GOD all is well.

I also spray his enclosure with water each and every day, and mix the substrate with my hands.
