I have a SOLAR GLO 160W light.
It is 21" from top of shell and is about 100 Degrees.
What is optimal distance for the UVB and heat?
(Looking through search I see between 100-110 degrees but 21" seems a bit far.)
Thanks guys

If its about 100 degrees, that is where you want it.

The only way to know what sort of UV levels you are getting at that height is to check with a UV meter. This is the one to get:

Also be aware that some bulbs stop producing UV after as little as three months, even though they still light up and appear to be working. Only a meter can tell you.

Thanks Rom!
It is a week out.
Possible to make heads or tails to keep me in a safe level with manufacture info.
