Sulcata or Desert Hatchling? Reddit

Can someone help this guy on Reddit? He found a baby tortoise in Southern California on the road. I can't figure out if it's a sulcata or desert tortoise.

I'm not a reddit member, so can't post there. Could you please tell them it's NOT a desert tortoise, but a baby sulcata. I'm 100% sure on this.

Hard to tell from that one pic, but looks like a sulcata. If he's not in any of the states that have the desert torts it would most likely not be one.
