Sulcata Plaston Separating

I have a 5 year old male Sulcata, his plaston looks like it’s separating in one row, is this normal? If not, what should we do for it? Thank you.

It's just an unusual aberrant scute pattern. Not a problem to worry about. Look at it this way: if he ever gets lost he'll be easy for you to identify when found.
