This is Teo. I just wanted to show people how well she is doing with using the advice of the forum, She has a "dimple" on her shell she has had from birth. Otherwise her shell is perfectly smooth. I attached a picture of some of the greens we grow for her in the classroom, And yes.. she was born with one eye.. and no... it doesn't slow her down one bit! lol

She looks wonderful and if I am thinking the dimple is the same as you are talking about (top vertebral scute), it is completely normal.

Im not able to soak her as much as I like to but she gets misted everyday very humid in her enclosure as well
