summer seems to be here.... we had a really cold wet may, normal average for us in may is 62F, the average this month was 57F, it was in the 30's 4x, it rained 20 out of 31 days.... march was above average which brought out some turtles, and got some of them eating, average was 44F, normal average is 39F...... april was normal average temp is 50F, we averaged 50F......

i live in their climate, makes it easy, well, easier........ the water hibernators require some winter maintenance all winter long..... the ground hibernators are pretty simple, just require paying attention to conditions....

Gorgeous. Hopefully I can work with these guys oneday.

Definitely got some odd weather here as well. We got slammed with record rains, and are still expecting more this week. It even threw off the girls egg laying cycle.

most of the country had average and above normal temps in may.... as far as temp, we were way below normal in temp and way above normal in rain...... didn't bother these turtles ...........we're full summer right now.....

nothing really to pay attention to in summer..... while i was hearing about floods we went almost 3 weeks without rain, temps 90-100........ we been getting a good amount of rain for the last couple weeks, temps staying around 90..... it's 90F right now with 70% humidity, this morning was 80F with 94% humidity...... turtles loved it , me not so much...... everybody was active today
