I had to make a temporary abode for Wally as we have not closed on our house yet and it's getting colder here at night. I was bringing him in at night and just did not like that!
I was given a very large dog igloo and I spray foamed the inside and all the way around the seam ( so it will never come apart again!) I filled the inside with sifted organic dirt and peat moss. He has a small water dish inside and I cut a hole in the side and caulked the heat lamp on an angle through it. There is a large flat rock buried flush with the dirt under the lamp and I put his pot hide in there too. I covered pathetic I mist the inside with water twice a day and it's nice and humid in there.

I draped two beach towels and a moving blanket over the entrance leaving a small gap for him to get in and out. I cut a hole the size of the igloo entrance it he side of the pool I was using and inserted it, mounding the earth up and over the lip of the entrance so it's easy for him to get in and out.

His temps are all pretty good. Basking 87, warm 80, cool.. Near entrance is 72. Humidity is 88%.
Any comment or corrections, please let me know. He is very active and latched on to the entrance very quickly. Eating well. Mazuri is still a challenge, but I get some grasslands into him with his greens mixture. I steamed a pumpkin which he ate part of
