Testudo tortoise. Squeaking?

She keeps making these weird squeaking noises like she’s calling out to something. Kind of adorable but I haven’t known a turtle to make squeaking noises.

Is this normal? If not what should I look for

Edit: we are unsure if it’s a girl as we were told the tortoise is too young. But it’s made this call pretty often today.

We soaked her for a bit and this stuff was on her mouth does anyone know what’s going on with my tortoise?
