This is my first time asking a question so I’m not sure if this is the correct way but here goes. i recently acquired another Sulcata. My first Sulcata Sadie is doing great and will be 2 in February, No issues. The new Sulcata is 3 years old, a little over 4 inches and weighs 8 ounces. Seems to be a good eater. I grow all my own greens/grasses and plants. I do provide mazuri pellets. So far the only thing I have noticed is she doesn’t stay under the heat too long when she is inside in her enclosure. Temps and humidity are on point. Before bring her home she was housed with another tortoise from the same clutch with a significant size different, he is over 10 inches.
I understand size can vary but I am a little concerned with how small she is. Other the taking her to our veterinarian is there anything I can provide for her ?

Please don't take this wrong, but the beautiful Sadie is bullying the smaller tort so the small one is not getting enough food, basking light and other stuff like that. IMO, you'll need to separate them before the smaller one dies. I'm betting if you separate them the smaller one will grow and be better

Thank you for your reply. I think maybe my post/ question wasn’t clear.
My new tortoise hasn’t been with Sadie at all. I just acquired the new tortoise this past Saturday. I won’t be putting the tortoises together for a good 6 months if at all.
where the new “tiny” Tortoise came from she was being housed with another tortoise of the same clutch and a significant size difference. I thought bullying could be one of the reasons she is so small but not sure. Just was reaching out for anything else I can do.

She was certainly being bullied at her previous home, and that could be the reason she's so small. Poor baby!

Keep her in her own enclosure, and she'll start to grow. Soon she'll eat you out of house and home!
