It's been 5 weeks, here is the first pic taken Sept 12 and the current pic of the little fellow,He is doing great and growing at a good rate. All the other youngsters are buried in the leaves. Yesterday I was watering the area where they are, and a few of them poked their heads up looking around to see what was going on,it was kinda cute. I thought long and hard before posting pics, hope you enjoy. Len

He's so cute Len. I wonder if he'll grow normally. I have two from the same group now that are a year old, and one is still the same size as a hatchling while the other is growing normally. They are both eating fine. Does yours eat as well as the others? The little one that I have is mostly all black with no color.

Well, Len, I'm glad that after taxing your brain you came to the correct solution. I love your pictures and I'm glad you've got an avatar again.

There's just nothing cuter than a baby box turtle...hm-m..unless its a baby orang...oh wait...a baby elephant.........

He is the only one that I am feeding, all the others are outside and if they are eating they are finding the food for themselves. Here is a pic I took a few days ago of him, you can see the yellow on the front legs,He has taken to staying in a deli cup that I use as a cricket egg hatchery,It had a lot of small crickets and some unhatched eggs in it. He found them right away, I believe he is waiting for more to come back.He seemed to like it so much I just left it in for him. As for his growth rate, if anything he may be growing to fast.
