TINY!!!

Hi everyone.
You will probably know by now I am getting a baby tortoise in less than 48 hours.
The breeder just emailed me and said they are ONLY 1 and a half inches long.
That seems tiny for a 5 week old tort. I can't wait but I am afraid that they
Seem to small to be given to me now. She isn't selling the others for a couple of months
But she said I seemed extremely knowledgable.Help!! What's your advice.

My redfoot was that size when I received, still had egg tooth and yolk scar unhealed. If you have your temps and humidity dialed, you should be fine.

That's a great size for a little baby tort going to a new home Be careful with him, little babies are extra delicate.

Yep, you wont want to handle him too much & he will sleep & hide a lot!
