Recently my tortoise luna wants to come inside a lot earlier than she used to. She used to walk around all day but now shes out for a few hours and then shes scratching at the door. If she sees me by the door she comes "running".
My mom says it's probably cause it's getting too hot and it is really hot here but can it get too hot for a tortoise??

I usually let her in cause she scratches by the door for a really long time and I feel bad. Should I ignore her? :c

What’s the temperature during the day where you are from?
If the tortoises it’s too hot it might try to burrow. You shouldn’t let your tortoise roam around your house.

She has an enclosure inside.
She has shade outside.
If she has a inside enclosure then you have answered you question yourself, let her/him in if you feel it’s too hot for your Tortoise
And it’s summer so it gets wayyy hotter

Glendale AZ or Glendale CA?

What size sulcata?

Its best if they can burrow in the hot summer months for people who live in warmer areas where temps reach or exceed 100 regularly in summer.

AZ
Shes probably like 10 inches
The ground outside is pretty hard would she still be able to burrow?
I just dont want to keep bringing her in if shes not getting enough exercise. She walks around for 3 or 4 hours and then wants to come in.

At that size, you ought to make a night box and leave her outside.

They can easily burrow into dirt that is like concrete. You might want to get a pick, digging bar and a shovel and start a burrow where you want it instead of letting her choose.

At 10" they all look female. You won't know the sex until "she" reaches 14-15".

Loose indoors is not a good way to go. That almost always ends in disaster.

Here are two night box ideas:
