For such a tiny tortoise, Tootsie roll can sure dig in and stay there. She has been staying outside from about 8-9am until 3-4pm. I was a little late getting to her last night and she already burrowed in. It was hard to get her out! She had her tiny little arms gripped in there tight, even when I freed her, she had a root in her nails!

I can't imagine having to pull a sulcata out!

It is amazing how strong they can be. Just imagine a sulcata or an Aldabra, probably not possible.

Well all you CAN do is imagine it, cause you are not gonna be able to actually pull one out. :D Not without an excavator or something.
