Hello! Steve‘s enclosure had been undergoing some renovations. Today I got some plants for his enclosure.
The plants include:
Rosemary
Lavender
Garden thyme
Spider plant
Stone crop
Phlox

I tried to find plants that were safe to feed, provided cover, looked pretty and would be devoured in an instant by Steve. These plants are edible, but the scent from the plants acts a deterrent. Their main purpose is to provide cover and a lot of hiding spots for my hatchling eastern hermanns tortoise (Steve).
I plan on adding more substrate and eventually moving the plants out of the pots. I am making my own soil which I will mix with some coco coir and keep the reptibark surface. Today for lunch, I prepared some cats ear, rib wort plantain and forget me not. He has such an appetite!
