Tortoise fell about 1ft

Hi all
I went out shopping this morning and came home to find the glass door to the vivarium open and tiddles (russian tort) was no where to be seen. He was found behind the tv unit and seems to be fine hes walking around as usual and eating im just a little worried. His viv is about 1ft off the ground and the floor is carpeted. Ill be locking the doors in future little monkey scared me to death.

We are going to build a table but are a little strapped for spare cash at the moment.

well, since hes walking around ad acting normal with no apparent injury i would say he'll be fine. and yeah same situation here, need to wait on some spare change to become available to build a beautiful table (already mapped out) for my Russian. poor thing is stuck in a rubbermaid tub for now.

My boxie did this too. I guess I was too slow getting him to his outdoor enclosure!!
I was very worried but he was just fine.
