Tortoise food

I have a hatchling salcata tortoise and I am going to start feeding her zoo med tortoise.food is it ok to use tap water to soak the food in? And also should I give the food with other greens as well?

Yes, use water to soften. Yes mix with greens.

Tap water should be fine. Soak it till its mushable. And most certainly use as a supplement to regular greens. Broad leaf greens80%, grassland20%. I feed my hatchling Mazuri tortoise chow once a week with greens and greens the rest of the week. Variety is of the utmost importance.
