Hello everyone. I have a 10 year old Russian tortoise. If I don’t want him to brumate, is it ok if I don’t let him? Last year, I didn’t let him brumate and he was completely fine. Are there pros to brumation? Are there any cons?

I don't brumate mine ever. He kinda just slows down for about a month and has never had a problem, never been sick. I've had him since about 2012 or so as an adult.
