Tortoise appears darker?! Is this normsl

My baby Morty seems to be darker then when I first brought him home and was wondering if maybe this means his basking area is too hot? I just moved the thermoneter right under neath the lamp to see what it says

Looks fine to me. Be sure you read Toms threads for raising leopards. They are below in my post.

Okay thanks so much!! Cause ya when I first brought her home she was pale compared to her dark skin now. I'll try the bath! :)

Haven't you already been giving your baby daily soaks?

I recommended leopards are soaked daily while young and small.

Yes of course he has a bath everyday if not twice a day! Just figured id try to clean him off instead of just letting him soak!
