Tortoise stopped eating

Since we added some bark (same type as beforehand) our Russian tortoise hasn't been active or eating much. It's been close to a week, any advice?

I'd say make sure you're soaking daily and be patient. It's normal for them to need time to adjust when changes are made.

The tortoise is probably just adjusting to the new substrate, if he continues this way for longer you may have to change the substrate however it should be fine

Your tortoise is most likely adapting to change but it never hurts to see a vet and I'd hate for the little guy to be sick.
