Would any body recommend buying a adult red foot tortoise from tortoise supply?

Yes, for sure! They are amazing people and they are so easy to work with. Their tortoises are very healthy and well taken care of.

Did you manage to find a new home for your sulcata? I thought housing the sulcata was a space issue... If the 4x4 outdoor enclosure is still all you can provide, that's nowhere near enough space for an adult Redfoot, and in your climate, you'd need to have enclosures both indoors and outdoors.

I'm not trying to be mean, but please do not get another tortoise if you cannot provide for the one you already have.

I was unaware that you had that small of a space. I definetly agree with Nicole M. For my adult Redfoot, I have a 13' by 9' outdoor cage, and a 7' by 5' indoor cage. They do get fairly large and are unsuitable for small cages.

Yeah if you're buying an adult you need to have a larger area set up. (100-200 sq ft)

I am making a 10x10 outdoor enclosure that will be done some time this week I never bought the 4x4 enclosure because it was way to small

That still might be small for an adult Redfoot outdoors... And again, you need to be able to provide space both indoors and outdoors for either tortoise, because of your climate. Are you rehoming the sulcata?

Please try to focus on one tortoise at a time. It's a mistake to take on too much at once, especially if you can't provide the space. Just think of what's best for the animals.
