No one ever thinks their adults have too much room. However, if you're trying to control temps and humidity and find a burrowed-in baby, you may not want a 6 or 8 or 12 foot habitat. Just a thought.

I recommend a minimum of 4x8' for an adult Testudo sp., plus a much bigger, well planted outdoor habitat for fair weather.
