Hello, I'm worried about some red sore marks on my Dollys tongue, she chewed a cuttlefish for ages the other day and I think she has just hurt herself? She had a normal pink tongue last week. I've rang the vets because I think her beak is to long and said about the tounge he said to record her weight and ring back nxt Thursday. She seems fairly active given the weather change, I'm just hoping it's nothing serious 20200430_155902.jpg

It could just be that the tortoise bit its tongue while eating. The beak IS overgrown, making eating troublesome.

Yes I really want to sort her beak out but because it's lock down it's not essential ?

You can do it yourself, it really isn't difficult. Just get a chisel and start grating it away. Not too much though.
