I see a lot of this lately. And i say if u wanna give ur tortoise some entertainment... give them lots of room to roam

im just stating my own opinion. There are many keepers that do it. I just choose not to

I agree with Chubbs. Any "toy" you put with him he'll probably see as an enemy that needs to be removed from his territory.

He would like plants in his enclosure. Pothos or spider plants work well. It's easiest to find cuttings from plants that haven't been loaded with chemicals, or grow from seeds. You could landscape his enclosure to make a hill to climb. And add a log or rock to climb or be a visual barrier.

You could put multiple stones/slates in the encloser. Then try and put dandelions in different locations as a surprise
