i I am a new member and I am looking for some advice.
we are moving to tenerife in the near future and would like to know if and how I can take my horsfield tortoise, also we have crested geckos which we would like to take with us also.

You will have to contact the wildlife authorities in Tenerife to ask them what their laws are. International movement of animals is exceedingly difficult and expensive, but certainly possible.

You will have to look into getting a passport, what vet checks are necessary etc. The safest for the tortoise is to ship it so that someone will be at the other end to receive it.
