So I posted a picture of my tortoises plastron and got a response it looks like the beginning of shell rot. I'm treating it but how did he get it? Fern is a 2 year old Greek tortoise. Nothing has changed in his diet or enclosure or anything in a year. I did buy a new bag of cypress mulch from Home Depot. It was very moist at first but has since calmed down. Could this be the issue? I want to treat the underlying condition so this doesn't happen again. Thanks!!
