View attachment 5962[/font]This was a big day for Torty. I took apart his home and redid it with more rocks and some new plants. I also pulled out the camera and took my first ever photos of him. He doesn't like the flash!
Torty is a 2009 hatchling. When he arrived on a cold day in January, he weighed .9 ounce, and it took his several weeks of settling in to nudge that up to 1 ounce. This evening he weighed 2.65 ounces. He has made the transition to eating his kale or such during the day, and he loves having the rocks in his home.
