I can't get sphagnum moss here in Spain but I can buy something called Compressed Rainforest Moss from Tropical Asia. It's from a reputable pet/animal supply firm online so I can't actually see the product but it says it's suitable for snakes, frogs, lizards and anything that likes to burrow. Do you think this will be ok for my leopards in their humid hide? They have bags of largish bits of coco but out of stock at the moment.

I would have to guess that it would be ok, since it is mfg'd with reptiles in mind.

Sometimes the obvious is just so heavily concealed----------! I read your comment and immediately thought what an idiot I am ( at times, I added) I cannot find it online here in Spain so tried in the UK and some is winging its merry way towards my Leos as I write! So thanks for stating the obvious!:D
