Anybody else ever notice your torts get especially drowsy after an exciting day? On weekends my torts get to come out of their outdoor enclosure and explore the wider yard cause we're home. They seem to get especially stimulated by all the places they can go -- and, by the end of the day, especially exhausted from all the adventuring. They go to bed a full hour earlier, and by the time I pick them up to bring them inside, they're comatose.

When I bring my boxie outside for fresh air and sun, she does that too. She comes in and immediately buries herself and goes to sleep. And this is a normally outgoing, active boxie.

I've noticed when I had to watch my neighbors torts that they did the same thing. I thought of it like a child after being in the pool all day. They're so happy and rambunctious when they're active and all of a sudden they crash. I would say its a good thing it means they're getting a work out and good stimulation. and its always neat to watch them roam aroud
