Are there any other experienced tortoise keepers in Tucson, AZ? I have 10 years experience and 30 tortoises, and am looking to find another similar, serious keeper who would be willing to help me out with "tort sitting" once in awhile. I rarely leave town, but currently when I do I have family stop over to care for my torts and it's just too overwhelming for them. I also worry as they don't know what to do, despite my detailed instructions and brief training.
It would just be easier to have someone who already knows what is needed and how to handle them.
I have: Sulcatas, a Sonoran Desert, a Hermann's, a Leopard, Russians, and Greeks.
Also, since I'm on the subject of tort sitting - I'm available to help others out in Tucson who need someone experienced to care for their tortoises.
