Update on Gimpy

Hi again!! I just wanted to post an update on the little three legged stinkpot im trying to rehabilitate. I'd been puttig floating baby food pellets in and he didnt seem to touch them for a little while. But today as i went to check on his water temperature i noticed they were gone, so i put a few more in next to him to see what he'd do and sure enough....

I was scared that i wouldnt be able to provide what he needed but im starting to not worry so much now that hes eating.

Once again if theres anyone in Louisiana (baton rouge/denham springs) are that would like to adopt him, please feel free to comment below!

Ill be checking the forum everyday this week, after that im just gonna have to assume that ill continue being his mom/caretaker! Lol.

When my Stinkpots were babies they loved live Mill Worms. When they are babies they are more carnivorous.

I read that somewhere and tried it, he didnt seem too interested. But maybe now that he has an appetite i will try it again! Thank you!
