So once I got my sulcata hatchling a little over a month ago when I would soak him I would see urates then they went away for the past two or three weeks. Today when I came home there were urates in his water dish and when I soaked him there were a lot. Is this a problem or nothing to worry about? I soak him daily for 20-30 minutes. I mist him probably 3-5 times a day. His humidity stays between 78-88 at all times temps from 80-95 and a basking spot of 102. I've even seen him drink on his own. At least what I think was drink. He went to his plant saucer water dish and stuck his head in below his nostrils for a second or two. I've seen him do that multiple times. Should I be worried or is this okay?

What are you feeding him and if you are giving calcium, how often? Urates are normal in some species. If they are gritty or hard that's not good. They should be more the texture of tooth paste

I feed primarily grasses from the northern seed mix from sulcatafood.com I also feed cactus pads, kale, and mazuri 2-3 times a week. Yesterday was the first time I really saw him eat a lot of the Mazuri. Could that have something to do with it? I supplement Rep-cal with d3 twice a week. The urates looked like a lot of little pieces, but I don't know if thats from sitting in the water for a while and separating

Also, yesterday I ordered miner-all so I plan to switch from rep-cal to that as my supplementation after ready so many good things about it.
