Hey everyone I was wondering what you all do with your Redfoots when you go on vacation I keep mine inside, I have a timer set for the lights. I am going to make a portable home for him and leave him with a friend for the week but I am worried about stressing him out so much. I've heard that they can be left alone with food and water but I would worry about him flipping over, he doesn't really have anything that could flip him over but when I first got him and he was I'm the box he found a way to do it. I appreciate all advice!

I have a different situation. Mine are all out in my back yard. My brother comes over every two days, changes the water in the pools and tosses a few Hibiscus branches in. Flowers, stems, leaves and all.
I'm never gone for more than a week.

I have a lady that comes over daily and cares for our tortoises.

If you lived closer, I would take yours in for a week. :)
