We have two 2 year old Hermanns that we have had since just before Christmas. They live in. Vivarium on a Komodo tortoise substrate. We believe them to both be female. Recently one of them has become hyper active. She stomps around the viv, climbs on anything she can get on and seems to be on a mission to escape! The other one is reasonably active but only for short periods and doesn't do all the climbing. We are feeding them on a mixture of lettuces, cabbage, cucumber, dandelion leaves and some tomato. We are concerned about the very active one and would like some advice as to whether there is something wrong to make her so active.

Hi have you found the caresheet for hermanns yet? That will help you identify if there is anything in diet temps humidity or substrate that is affecting the behaviour.
My bet is it could be something to do with one becoming more dominant and upsetting the other so it is trying to get away. It is not recommended to keep pairs as bullying often occurs and this can cause stress and illness to the one on the receiving end. It may not be obvious physical aggression such as pushing biting or flipping, it could just be trying to intimidate with looks or by following around etc. If you do a search on keeping pairs you will see some pretty horrible stories so keep an eye on them and be prepared to separate as soon as possible.

how big are both your tortoises and how big is their enclosure? It could be a size issue.
