Vitamin A injection.

My tortoise was given a vitamin A injection for respiratory infection puffiness of eyes but I’ve now read it’s toxic! Is she gonna be ok? Should I be concerned? Can it be lethal to the animal?

Redfoot 4 years she’s not too small. I won’t let them do it again. No no tests on her she had runny nose, puss build both sides of head that lanced etc. 32 degrees on heat and UVB 12 hours

Uvb only needs to be on 4 hours like 11-3 or 12-4.
My guess would be the runny nose like due to ear/puss.
The day temp should be around 85f. Then if you ever see a runny nose raise the temp up by 5 degrees. For now leave your temp as is. But when she is fully recovered get it down to 85F.

She’s eating but obviously struggling to open mouth properly

I would try to make her food as mushy or finely chopped as possible until she is feeling better. Make it as easy as possible for her to eat. No hard foods
