Wanted: RES

I am currently setting up a 125gallon aquarium as a display tank in a classroom.

Considering how RES are the most dumped pet turtle I'd like to take 1 or 2 unwanted pets for this tank. I have feelers out on Craigslist but also want to ask around here.

If you know of someone that would like to donate 1 or 2 RES for this classroom tank please let me know!

I'm in Southern California. My area to travel for this would be central to these freeways:
91fwy, 57fwy, 60fwy, 15fwy.

nope. just them. i think doing 2 turtles in that tank is pushing it enough

Nah, make sure to put some firebelly toads and maybe a caiman too.

Contact the CTTC - (tortoise.org) and find your nearest chapter. There are always plenty of RES needing homes. Good luck!

I have an adoption application submitted to CTTC and sent out an email to my local chapter (thanks for that referral)

I also have spoken to some people on CL.

I'll make a thread about the turtle tank once it is up and established

Yeah all the CTTC chapters usually have 9 or 10 who need a home.
