Warming up to the new PVC enclosure

Yeah I was thinking about mixing it with some sort of clay or sand to give it some structure

Sand should not be used and I wouldn't use clay either. You could put fine grade orchid or fir bark on top and then tap that down into the coir just a bit.

Would that work or should I keep them in pots?

Prob easier in pots, but if you plant in the substrate, coir alone won't work and you'd need to add compost to make it a more suitable growing medium.

Back in the day when my first leopard was little, I grew grass and clover in just coir. It grew pretty good for being inside and walked on. I didn't try full plants though.
