So they're more like squirrels?? They hide their food in their burrow for snacks later?? ;)

I have not seen it personally, but that is what I am told by a credible source. Still waiting on pics.

I definitely agree tom. My Henry during the summer is out some mornings at like 430 and only for like an hour then mainly in his enclosure digging or asleep throughout the entire day until around 530-6 he will come out and do some hardcore grazing for two hours then go back down. Funniest thing is sometimes in the middle of the night he will come out and eat. Smart tortoise since its only about mid 80's at night and it's 115 during the day. That brings up a good question. Why do these tortoises "cry" so much?
