What breed is my turtle?!

We got our turtle from a friend and I cannot figure out which breed our little cosmo is!! She couldn't remember. It is a water turtle according to the pet store she purchased it at but all of the water turtles I have seen have webbed toes and he does not. He is really quick on the ground and pretty much just chills in a corner of his tank until late at night/early in the morning. I'm scared he may not actually be a water turtle. Can someone help please?!?

I'd say some kind of mud/musk turtle, but I might be completely wrong.

Thank you. I had no idea and couldnt find a similar looking turtle anywhere lol We have also been thinking this whole time that cosmo was a boy but after further research it looks like we have a bouncing baby girl! Lol My husband is slightly disappointed because its him to me, cosmo, and our female cockerspaniel, oreo. Lol Also, after looking further it looks like she maybe an african sideneck but I could be comoletely wrong on that too lol

The face does look like that. Easy to find out, does she pull her head in or tuck it to the side?

I have to warn you, I know next to nothing about turtles, it would be better if someone with experience could help you out here.
